Retirements are prompting HR changes at two leading companies in the food space later this year, while two technology companies prepare for growth.
CMS Energy
Polly Harris is now vice president of human resources for Michigan-based energy provider CMS Energy, per a July 1 announcement from the company. Harris’ background includes “championing a holistic culture of employee well-being” along with a vast array of other HR functions. She was previously VP of HR for Union Pacific Railroad, where she dedicated nearly two decades of her career.
Kroger
Grocery giant Kroger announced July 2 that Emilee De Martino will become executive VP and chief people officer following the retirement of Tim Massa. De Martino was most recently senior VP and CPO for the international operated markets division of McDonald’s. Greg Foran, CEO of Kroger, noted De Martino’s experience with large workforces and commitment to talent development “makes her exceptionally well-suited” to the transition.
Yum Brands
Nai De Leon will be promoted from chief talent and centers of excellence officer to chief people and culture officer in November, Yum Brands recently announced. De Leon joined Yum in her current role in August 2025 and has focused on a variety of priorities, including learning and development and people acquisition. As CPO, she will direct talent and leadership development, organizational effectiveness, people operations and total rewards. She will succeed Tracy Skeans, who is retiring. De Leon previously held roles at Bain Capital.
Visier
Pramukh Jeyathilak has joined people analytics software company Visier as CPO, the company announced July 22. He most recently served as CEO and co-founder of TalentLign, an AI-enabled human capital consulting firm, and has helped shape people strategy at companies like Amazon, Microsoft and Accenture.
Jeyathilak joins Visier at a “pivotal moment,” the company said, signaling “the company’s commitment to building a People function that operates with the same quantitative discipline and business orientation it champions for its customers.”
JMAN Group
Trish Unwin is now CPO of private equity fund data partner JMAN Group, according to a news release sent to HR Dive on July 22. She joins the company from Waste Harmonics Keter, where she served as chief people and technology officer and lent her services to JMAN, “enabling more informed decision-making.”
Unwin will lead global people strategy in her new role, and will focus on workforce capability, leadership strength and a supportive culture as the company prepares to grow rapidly.
