Rand report

The Rand report said that the Trump administration’s focus on curtailing diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at companies may have a downstream negative effect on veteran belonging. Additionally, top companies tend to have lower rates of veteran hiring, per the report; compared to a national benchmark of 5.1%, the S&P contractors’ share of 2025 veteran new hires was 2.4%.
