The shortest — and longest — hiring periods at major US employers

When it comes to the interview process, there is no secret sauce. While some companies take just days to hire a new employee, others can take more than a month, according to research by Career.io, a career services platform.

Career.io analyzed Indeed company profiles of 100 top employers, the 50 biggest restaurant chains and 14 tech giants in the U.S. to determine just how long the average interview period is at each.

Beyond that, Career.io revealed some unique aspects of the interview process at various companies. Drive-thru coffee chain Dutch Bros Coffee, for example, holds hiring parties at which candidates can listen to music, chat with other applicants and play games.
